MANUFACTURE PROCESS
Steam Distillation: Rose oil, also known as rose otto or attar of roses, is extracted from rose petals. The petals are subjected to steam distillation. The steam carries the aromatic compounds of the rose petals, which are then condensed and separated to obtain rose oil. Alternatively, a solvent extraction method known as enfleurage may be used for extracting rose oil.
APPLICATION
Perfumery and cosmetics: Rose oil is a prized ingredient in perfumes, colognes, and various cosmetic products due to its pleasant scent and skin-nourishing properties.
Aromatherapy: It's used in aromatherapy for its relaxing and mood-enhancing properties.
Food and beverages: Rose oil can be used as a flavoring agent in certain food and beverage products, such as desserts, teas, and confectioneries.
Pharmaceuticals: It's used in certain pharmaceutical preparations for its potential health benefits, such as anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
